More information about working with me

I like to keep things simple and eliminate any barriers to you getting help, so below I have provided some information which will help you make an informed decision.

Rates

I offer fixed-rate fees for individuals and couples.

Fees for therapy are $190 for 50-minute individual or couple sessions and $220 for 80-minute couples or family sessions. Payment is due at the time of our session, and I accept payment via cash, check, credit card and Venmo. An invoice will be provided, upon request.

Insurance

I am in-network with a few providers.

I am an “in network” provider with Concern, Tricare, Lyra and Grow, which means that I will take care of the billing for your therapy sessions if you are connected with these providers. I offer sessions to a limited number of Tricare clients at any given time. If you would like to use your Tricare benefits to cover the cost of your therapy sessions, please contact me to inquire about availability.

What if I'm out of network?

If you have another type of health insurance or employee benefits plan for your therapy sessions, I would be considered an “out of network provider.” In this instance, you would pay my full fee at the time of our session, and upon request, I would provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Therapy services may be covered in full or part by your health insurance or employee benefits plan, so you should inquire with your provider about the specifics of your mental health coverage to get more information.

Good Faith Estimate

Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the law, health care providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask any health care provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

I invite you to reach out.

I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help, especially if you are used to solving problems rather than having them. Asking for help can be a big step but one which will put you on the path toward a better future. I have an open and authentic style and offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your unique situation and how I can help.
